    Default Survived IRMA!

Just wanted to let y'all know we've survived Hurricane IRMA with only minor damage. While our power was only out here for about a day and a half, Land line, cable TV and Internet only came back up this morning.

I lost almost my entire back fence, but otherwise came out quite okay. Alas! Quite a few trees came down. Still a lot of folks without power.

Now THAT would have been a real tragedy!! LOL!! Glad you're okay!

I've only heard from my brother (Tampa area) that they got through with only a dead cornsnake being deposited in their yard and the rest of my family is farther north than that, so "no news is good news".

im a member of the protection of corn snakes society, any corn snake that suffers a ill timed death through no fault of its own, is to be mourned and treated with the greatest of respect

I'm sure it was, seeing that I'm the one who taught my little brother to catch, gently examine and release all kinds of "swampy type" creatures when we were kids

Glad you are O.K. I was watching the news reports coming in as my son and daughter-in-law were at Disney World. They just had a few trees down there but no huge damage.
