Hmmm. I found this in the link you provided:
"To check whether you’re using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 10, open the Settings app by pressing Windows+I, and then head to System > About. On the right side, look for the “System type” entry. It will show you two pieces of information—whether you’re using a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system and whether you have a 64-bit capable processor."
"Open the Settings app by pressing Windows+1" . . . ???? Where do I find Windows+1???
So I started clicking on the icons on my toolbar, one at a time. When I clicked on the last one . . . "Notifications" . . . it had a selection for system!!! Yes!!! I went into that and found out I'm running a 64-bit operating system.
Apparently "Notifications" is a synonym for "Windows+1."
They don't make it easy for us Luddites.
Mine is on the left of the space bar between the FN key and the ALT key. It has the Windows Icon but no lettering. It's that way on both my Toshiba laptops. I don't remember where it is on my Lenovo.
I found it. I was looking for something on the screen, not on my keyboard. I don't think I ever touched that key, had no idea what it was for, and never bothered to experiment. Duh!
