I think I captured it when you were having problems with background images on your listing template a while back and I was helping sort it.
P.S. I also have your template background image if you need it.

Have just finally finished downloading my pix (the ones I want) from P'bucket & deleted my albums & account.
They wanted a reason for leaving - SO I gave them a couple - didn't I
I wasn't so lucky beating the rev counter thingy, & all my pix across several forums going back to 2008 are broken!
They are a dead site to me!
Yep! That the finger, Mel. Actually, it isn't an original creation. It's just one of those freebie's that anyone is free to download, but I thought it worked well with my templates.
Before I closed my photobucket account I saved all of my stuff from there. Of course, I still had the original files on my computer so it doesn't really matter much.
I'm currently in the process of uploading my image files to Fototime. I've had a basic account there for years. If memory serves, I got it along with a RealNet Superpass account. Because they required a subscription to allow third party hosting and photobucket was free, I used that for hosting product photos. However, since photobucket decided to go from zero to 400 with little or no notice, I figured I might as well spring for a subscription. Frankly, their highest priced subscription is half of what photobucket wanted. For what I figured I'd be needling it only runs $24 a year so it's not too bad. Here's a sample.

Ok, that's fine then. Just the way you and others had been talking I had gained the impression that users' images were being held hostage on Photobucket unless their fee demand was paid, and you didn't have local copies.
Snapagogo, from the eBid stable, seems a reasonable alternative to Photobucket and is free. I can't see them suddenly slapping on a fee either.
Actually, Mel, I think some people did end up unable to access their accounts if they didn't act quickly. Of course, my reaction was to close my account and delete all my images from the site so I wasn't too concerned.
Frankly, I never heard of Snapagogo until recently when all this photobucket stuff started. I did hear that it hadn't been in operation and some folks wanted it to be resurrected. But that might be just something mentioned about it over here.
Snapagogo was recently revamped to cope with smart phones, ipads, etc.
I've started using it but it doesn't appear to let you make your own folders in the same way as Photobucket or Flickr do.
