When did Columbo say this or are you putting words into his mouth.

And if he did say this, he's just another American.

Set up an EU version of the CIA with member country's security and security services subservient to and controlled by the EU: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...ligence-agenc/

Exercise the EU Police ready to suppress any dissent in member countries: http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/...risis-training

Present information to the the European Parliament on TTIP negotiations with any facts that might stop progress removed: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36185746

Be afraid. Be very, VERY afraid. Then vote Leave in the referendum.

Columbo always had words put in his mouth as he was a fictional character.

The actor who played him was also long dead when the referendum was first instigated, so neither the actor or the character would have made comment on it.

Still, let us not allow reality to get in the way of sniping at a post.

yet again blair still trying to mislead the british by saying the usa is the most powerful country in the world, its on the brink of its next economic collapse , and this will be the big one, his intervention in the eu debate is self serving mainly for the ttip agreement, if that happens you can kiss good bye to being british, it will be the worlds first corporate take over, of a island nation and continental europe

If you do not like TTIP, please ensure that blame is directed where it belongs. The EU cannot impose TTIP upon the UK. We will only become a member of TTIP if a British Prime Minister does not exercise the right of veto at the EU Council of Ministers and signs the UK up to TTIP with the rest of the EU. TTIP is coming the UK’s way if we vote to stay in the EU because David Cameron wants it and will not veto it, irrespective of the views of the British electorate. David Cameron could kill TTIP dead in its tracks if he wanted to but he wants TTIP. As I have posted on other occasions, before we start to talk about any perceived democratic deficits within the EU, we should first sort out the actual democratic deficit between the UK Government and the UK electorate which is at the heart of many of the perceived issues with the EU.

You can see the difference between UK and French political leadership here:

The UK Government pushed for the controversial trade courts to be included in TTIP.

Is this a case of the UK being a victim of the EU or a case of the British Government not telling the British electorate what it is up to in Brussels?
