My earlier comment (#23) would seem to be borne out by the detailed data from the latest YouGov poll. The younger the age group of the responder the more they indicate their intention or inclination to vote to remain in the EU.

Time to start culling the young?

The youth are the future of this and any other country. Perhaps, their voice should be listened to as they are the ones who will have to live longest with the result of the decision. And before you jump to the wrong conclusion. there is no way I could be described as young.

You may be surprised to learn that the same thought occurred to me. However, as in my original post #23, it still remains that the majority know nothing of life outside the EU. Having been brainwashed by the EU machine all their lives that the UK is an irrelevance and to be ashamed of its past how can they make an informed choice? They are blinkered by their upbringing. That is our fault, as we allowed it to happen, not theirs.

The thought never crossed my mind.

PMQs. EU referendum and Cameron's duplicity and scaremongering not raised once. What's that all about?

More time spent on condolences over the death of some MP, that I doubt hardly anyone has ever heard of, than anything else. One of the most important issues facing the country seemed to be relegated to being the 'elephant in the room' (No, not Eric Pickles). Nobody even thought to ask DC if his mum approved of what he was doing.

Some polling news, released today, from Ipsos Mori (Scotland Only - Sample Size: 1000)

    EU Remain: 62%
    EU Leave: 26%
    Don't Know: 12%

Does anyone know of any England or Wales polls?

Would be interesting to see if there was a difference of opinion between parts of the UK

The link I gave above has poll results data broken down into regions.

I think it is well understood that there is - at least according to those voicing such. Only the vote will show if those voices represent the people.

It is the custom in the House of Commons for MPs who have passed on to be remembered. The MP in question today did not have a long service as a Westminster MP but had long service in local community politics. For some people his passing is a big loss, both personal and political, so it was a mark of appropriate respect that he was remembered today.

Jeremy Corbyn focused on the housing crisis today which is one of the UK’s biggest problems.

I am sure that time will be spent on the EU Referendum in future Prime Minister’s Questions once a deal has been agreed with Brussels.

And he has visited Calais recently, and stated that he wants more migrants (illegal immigrants) to be allowed to enter The United Kingdom.

    The man is rather foolish.

Oh yes, so it does. Completely missed the regional breakdown. My bad.

The Scottish sub-sample is too small to trust as is Wales given that it's blended with the Midlands, but certainly the total of the other reqions combined gives reasonable sample size for England.

Has there been a recent poll for Wales only? March 2015 is the most recent that I can find (43% Stay, 36% Leave).

Any thoughts on why England is apparently more inclined to leave when compared to the rest of the UK?

    We're smarter?

    Don't know about Wales poll.

There was an overall swing from a majority remain to majority leave after DC came back with his pathetic joke of a deal.
