You need to send your buyer two payment reminders. Once you have done that and left appropriate feedback you can then report them as a non paying buyer on the dropdown menu of the ASL , eBid will then give you the option to claim back your fees on the dropdown menu about two or three days later.

Cheaver is right, eBid have provided their services for you. It's your choice to cancel a sale so eBid shouldn't have to refund anything.

If you cancel a sale you will not get back your FVF. If the buyer wants to cancel, then you will need to go through the procedure that cornishmaid1961 has stated, to get your FVF back. You will need to inform the buyer of this procedure so they know why you are doing this.
hope this helps
Hi. My name is Frankie Kam from Malaysia. I am a 3-day newbie to ebid.net but I have already made two successful bids on ebid.net. I have alread paid for one bid and am awaiting its arrival.
I want to ask this important question: what is the WORST that can happen if I were to win a bid, BUT not pay the buyer, and the buyer flags me as a NON-PAYING BIDDER (NPB)? What does it mean for me to, in the future, place bids on ebid.net with a history of being flagged once as a NPB? Will it jeopardise my chances of winning future bids? Will I be barred from bidding? What are the consequences? Pray tell.
To give more information, here is the scenario. I won a bid for a HARD-COVER, 2.9Kg book at a fairly good and low price. As the buyer is in the UK and I am in Malaysia, the minimum shipping charges for this hardcover book (dimensions: 10" x 10.4" x 0.9") is steep. So now I have a choice of going through with the purchase and just click on the PayPal button, or to cancel the purchase and have myself flagged as a NPB. I suppose I should have asked the buyer about the shipping information before I even ventured to place a bid, right? Anyway, having said this, there is a high chance I will still buy the book as it is not available anywhere in Malaysia and my dad, a WW2 buff, will love the hard-cover book on U-boats.
Kindly advise. Please don't FLAME me. Thanks.

I paid up for my second successful bid. So the questions I raised earlier are purely academic. Still I would appreciate some feedback from the older and wiser ebid.net users. Cheers, Frankie Kam.
