Closest I have come is the Family Guy spoofs. Did see a bit of the first one but quickly put it down as a film for kids. Baffled by the hoo ha they seem to create in grown people.

When the first Star Wars picture came out, all we knew was that it was safe to take the kids. Movies had become so grim, violent, and/or depressing, we stayed home and skipped most of them.
We all loved Star Wars. I've seen all the sequels. Some were good, some not so much, and the story line is familiar, but I love disappearing into that world for a couple of hours.
The late commander of the Death Star used to live in Bath !

I enjoyed the first three when they came out but then sort of lost track.

I also have never seen one. Just not my cup of tea
I've never seen any, youngst son had loads of the fiquers, & saw him last night & he can't wait to go to see the new film.
I saw all the early ones as well but then lost interest in the later ones as well.
