Just Come From Ismella next to Marmaris Great Time.
Morning all
Another 'normal day' yesterday, no 'Daaaaaaad can you.......' phonecalls
Got my new shelving up yesterday and got them filled with sorted stuff by the end of the day.
Now I have access to things without having to deconstruct towers of cardboard boxes to see what's in the bottom box!
I have concluded that I have far too much stuff and that I am now a recovering collectaholic.
Admitting that you have (had) a problem is the first step to recovery
That means that I will allow myself to part with my hoard, now where can I get rid of 300 German Werbetrucks models to start with?
Time for a truckin' breakfast..
Keep on truckin'

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
G'day all - thanks for breakfast & the choon Pos.
As I gear up for the weekend footy final & feeling a patriotic rush, I hereby hope to inspire our boys to a win over the Kiwis!

Quite an interesting bunch of truck videos there, Old. We see 2 trailers sometimes here, but Colorado has stricter laws about the length of a truck, so most of the time it's just one.
Today was a work day most of it spent on the computer as it's cooling down here. 56F was the high and we had a breeze, so it felt colder.
I YDC, Do you?
Morning All
Not a good family day yesterday for one of my sons, his partner has gone back to her parents over in Yorkshire together with their son.
He was round here yesterday and was distraught.
I consoled him and tried to reason with him that her hormones would be all over the place plus the trauma of her fall down the stairs would probably make her want to go back to her parents.
A hug from your mum is a good cure all
The annoying part for me was that my estranged step-daughter drove all the way from Yorkshire in order to take them back whilst my son was at work!!
That's a familiar scenario for me.
Old, we have trucking programs on TV here including Outback Truckers and one about a company that specislised in shifting very big loads.
The type of model that I collect(ed) were these..
They are HO scale 1:76 so not too big.
Merle Haggard likes trucks too
so does Mo Bandey..

Of course we could not forget the original Convoy.

Oh Pos, how absolutely awful for your son, and you too. Being a mum to 5 I have been through this kind of thing, and it's heartbreaking.
When your kids are little, you can almost always make their hurt go away, but when they are older we can't.
We can only offer advice, support, and try and reassure our kids that they are loved and things will eventually get better over time.
I sure feel for your son, losing his partner, son and unborn daughter. What a horrible way to leave - whilst he was at work. Poor lad.
I sure hope that his partner will realise that her son needs daddy and after a bit of breathing space (and a few hugs from her mum) she returns to the family home - and the open arms of your son. Fingers crossed xxx
Brilliant truckin' choons there guys - love 'em!
Wyo, it's unseasonably warm here - but I like it! No doubt we shall get icy weather soon, the farmers that go up to the club where JR works reckon we are in for a long, cold and harsh winter. Guess we will see. (Would love some snow - we seldom get any here!)
Glad you had a great time in Ismella Tony, we went to Marmaris a few years ago.
Wish Sues would call in - I worry that she is ok.
Sorry to hear of your son's problem Pos, sure hope they can work it out & keep their family together. Good communication is key!
I'm sure we have the same two TV shows you mention - some of those outback truckies R NUTZ
I googled those model trux as I'd never heard of them before - every boy needs a hobby! (& a shed, with a bar in it!)
Off to post a couple of sales now - hee harrr! (about time)
