    Hello world

Kegs, hmmmm, I used to have a six-pack, now I've got a barrel!

I still chase after women, but can't remember what for now.

A lively jig for you to start the day with..

After all that dancing about how about a coffee and brekkie..

    Stay safe
    Graham

Hi everyone - just got my stuff together for tomorrow's eye op - must admit I'm quaking in me boots!
Don't relish the thought of having an injection and incision in my eye at all. (Read the booklet they gave me .... arrgghh!)
Don't think I'll sleep well tonight - think I will get my Easter Cards written out now then settle down to watch a movie with a large whisky.
Hope all you guys are doing well, thanks for the choon and brekkie Pos, hope the dog grooming class went smoothly Sues.
    G'night y'all x

Thanks Trish, the class went OK, not great but OK is good enough for me. W. and I will be thinking of you and sending good thoughts for the op your way. Make sure JR takes good care of you, otherwise I'll sic the big guy on him, LOL.

Hey Old, just one more question if it's not too much bother. What kind of stone do you think this is? The seller thinks it's turquoise, but I have my doubts...

Here's the part that has me confused, it's on the top, I cant figure out whether it's natural host rock/matrix or dye that's coming off the stone:

Will say a few kind words to the man upstairs for you Trish. You got more grit than I do.

Got my taxes filed with the Gummit. Got Cody's lease sorted (he's trying to get a grant for a 2nd stock tank in the pasture). We had to jump through the gummit hoops. Got lotsa new pictures taken, trying to sell teddy bears. Liz is going to Nebraska for the sand hill cranes this weekend, so we worked today. And I got the ironing done. Now I have to fold my undies (knickers?) and socks and put them away. Oh yeah, got to talk to my kid yesterday evening!!! Not an easy task, he has a full schedule. He's a scheduler for Disney.

I sent my son and my friend Rico this anachronism, completely confused Rico, Son got it after a hint - WYLAJB? The hint - Dr. Who. That's my oneriness for this week.

Time for supper, will check in again tomorrow, maybe. I've been trying to stay off the computer, takes up too much time. On the other hand, I miss youse guys.

Wyo, that's great you got to talk with your son, IMHO family is the most important thing. Congrats on the taxes, too, what a PITA they are and I'm sure my measly bit isn't a tenth of what others do. Someday when I hit the lottery, I'm going to have someone else do them for me, I stink at figures.

Posted the ring pic to a NA forum I belong to, there are some real turquoise whizzes there, though I still think Old knows more than anyone about these things.

After hours of searching, I finally found a cab online that looks a good deal like the ring, it's from Lander County Nevada, so maybe it's turquoise after all:

That's a tricky one from this distance, there are a few things it could be???
From the first pic I thought it may be low grade Malachite or Elait.
But they do dye & stabilize low grade Turquoise also!
Short answer is - I can't tell from here, sorry

    Greetings

Trish, good luck for a successful operation today.

I am starting on the refurbishment of the interior of Poscar Palace today, lots of wallpaper stripping, plastering and re-decorating to do.
I take forever on the preparation side of things but I hate painting over defects like cracks and lumps.
Then I ponder colours for a while....
I need to get rid of the dark orange hallway colour first!

Maybe I should just paint it all black...

    Graham
