No worries! - I have seen the rootes part, but it is for later models; the outlet goes in the other direction to mine.

Looked up the General Motors part - looks like it might fit and certainly a lot cheaper, despite postage of $21+

I have investigated the Liquid Metal option and it is quite expensive, but may have to in the end...

I would have thought one tube of metal epoxy putty would be sufficient to fill around the outside of the copper pipe.Less than a tenner.
