    Default Remove Feedback

I am in a situation where I wish to remove completely feedback including rating for an item i got but cannot convince myself it is genuine. If feedback cannot be removed what is the appropriate way to handle the feedback?

    Thank you in advance!

    Gary

While you cannot delete feedback already left you can edit it to reflect changing circumstances by going to your My Feedback page (http://us.ebid.net/perl/account.cgi?mo=account-comments) and clicking on the View/Edit What You've Said tab. Locate the item and click on the Click here to edit link.

As astral said, you can't remove the fb yourself, however you can edit it, or contact support - they are the only ones who can remove fb.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I got the impression the OP had left positive feedback and was now not happy with the transaction on closer examination - as opposed to having been left unwarranted feedback.

If Ebid carries on with this feedback system, not making a clear out after one year, like done somewhere else, all the bad sellers will be in Ebid in a couple of years. I'm not asking nobody to remove ngs or neutrals fdbs left, most of times without valid reason.

Sorry, I don't understand this. Surely if feedback is left forever it makes the site more secure against bad sellers. I wouldn't like a system where the details of the feedback were erased. I think the current system is much safer and much fairer than that used on certain other sites.

I have just been given bad feedback after a purchase I made had to be returned because the quality was not as expected and it turned to be a christmas tree bauble (not described as such), Now I find out I am to be classed as a NPB so that the seller can claim back FVF due to being refunded by PayPal and my feedback score affected/ ( I paid promptly). All in all a bad buying experience all round. I have had no reply from support team to my 2nd email.

This is what worries me about eBid. I have been selling on eBay for 12 years and have Top Rated Seller and 100% PFB. I was thinking of transferring my 230 items over here as they now have a Best Offer option, I sell continuously with Best Offer. I play by Trading Standards rules, have always provided multiple good quality photos and a close up video where necessary so I could never have a 'not as described FB. Any defects are pointed out. But..... with selling 2 or 3 higher value items a day you are bound to come across an idiot buyer or a rival seller who wants to mess up your DSRs and FB because they know it affects your fees discounts on eBay.

I have a very good relationship with eBay help, directly by phone, they will immediately remove the errant NFB. There is no such phone contact on here and am wondering how well the ticket system works, when it is is obvious that a buyer has left vindictive NFB. Obviously all replies to the buyer must be prompt and no quibble returns are accepted.

Any comments from people who have had NFB removed would be appreciated.

I have not used Support to remove negative feedback but I have used the system for other matters. In my experience, the ticket system works very well. From the forums, I believe eBid support are very good about unwarranted negative feedback. You always get a reply from a real person. You appear to have been very lucky with eBay help. My experience, admittedly well in the past, was nowhere near as satisfactory as yours.
