Where have the links gone to the other eBid sites ?

I just went to the grey bit at the bottom of the page as I wanted to look at the eBid site for a different country and found the links have vanished ?!

I don't know about anyone else but I've used those links quite often in the past especially if someone from overseas was asking a question on the forum and their listings were not visible in the UK.

Why have they been taken away ?

I vaguely recall that someone said Gazza made an announcement about this a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks Damian. I know you can get in via the flags but it was just so simple to zip down to the bottom of the page rather than having to faff around finding the main eBid page. I don't see the sense in taking it away ?!

I didn't notice any announcement, I shall have to go and have a look at the eBid news and see if it is mentioned.

Looks lonely down there without the links to the other sites. I can not find the flags; and most will not go looking for flags.

You can get to the flags from the main page
http://www.ebid.net/
but newbies won't know this. It's annoying having to go and search for the main page if somebody needs help on the forums.

I always go strait for the USA flag link. Never use the link above that asks where do you want to go. I feel dense at times; like a newbie. I like the links at the bottom.

Thanks Jan I must have missed that thread. I didn't realise the links had gone until I wanted to use them !!!

I know eBid has opened up worldwide now for selling but they were useful links for when people are trying to help newbies on the forums. I hope they will reconsider and put them back.
