The Celts love to moan and blame the English for all their problems even though they are still looting south of the wall as they have always done.
They may say they hate us but they love our money.

If Mr Salmon really wants independence he should insist that the English get a vote, afterall he gets to vote to raise our taxes so he can continue to subsidise the Scots, it would be a landslide in his favour.
Where to begin? So many misconceptions in such a short post.

Whilst it is completely true that we do receive more spending per head than the UK average, to the tune of £1200, what isn't so commonly known is that (according to government figures) we generate £1700 per head more in tax receipts. So rather than looting English money we're actually paying more than our fair share. To put it in context, the UK Government charges us £142 for every £100 of "extra" spending that it "gives" us. If we borrowed it from Wonga it would only cost £137.

Alex Salmond, despite what you may hear in the media, does not get to vote on UK taxes as he is not a UK MP. In addition although the SNP may vote on UK wide taxes, they have a policy of abstention on all issues that do not affect Scotland.

One point where you're half right. I also don't think it's going to happen... This time.

Then the 'No' campaign has failed.

I'm with you on that one. The "No" campaign is absolutely dismal. The official "Yes" campaign is no better. If you had no other sources of information than the official campaigns, turn out would be about 30%. They're both a complete turn off.

I went along to two campaign stalls last week. One Yes, and one No. I left both of them just feeling vaguely annoyed at what they were saying.

Scottish politics on the other hand has benefited immensely as everyone is talking about it, what is most interesting is the rise of "citizen journalism" blogs and websites endlessly picking holes in what the mainstream media are (or regularly aren't) reporting.

A spokesperson for BBC Scotland said: "In terms of BBC Scotland's reporting of the referendum, our journalism is fair and impartial and in line with our editorial guidelines."

Oh! Yes. I see. I blame this unseasonal sunshine we've been having.

So, if the Scots vote "No" in September, is that it?

Can they have another go a bit later, or some time in the future?

What will Mr S do with himself if the "No" vote is carried - blame the English, obviously, but doesn't that rather take the wind out of his sails? He surely can't reign as the Scottish Independence voice when most have said they don't want it?
