I shop at Morrisons, Asda, TFL, Lidl, Sainsburys, Aldi, Waitrose in that order.

I can't afford Tesco prices, but shop at Carrefour in Bologne 3 times a year. We don't have a Coop nearby, otherwise it might figure in the list. Aldi is only low down on the list because it is far away.

TFL is a chain of Turkish supermarkets in London and do the best fruit and vegetables short of market stalls

Sainsburys and Waitrose are in the list because they sell the kind of bread flour I like, strong Canadian, and I get a few other offers at the same time.

Most, if not all of my summer clothes are from Asda George range, vest type tops at £2.25 to £2.50 each, shorts £6.00, though only managed to get one pair this year, rest are from previous years.

Waitrose for big shop, Aldi for specials, Co-op as the corner shop.

I'm not a sell buy/use buy woman, I'm old school. Waitrose veg can last me 10-14 days whereas Aldi will last maybe a week. I use Waitrose washing powders which are just the same as the Persil that my mum used. Essential Waitrose is very good too and saves on the cash and they have deals.

Occasionally I will do a big shop at Tesco for tins etc. and get it delivered to save me the hassle of heavy loads.

I detest shopping with a passion!

But, Tesco's is my nearest.....and is open 'til midnight, so I tend to go there every couple of days.

Asda is "sort of" en route to our own shop...so it comes in handy on the odd occasion.

I shop every other week on-line at Ocado because they have a wide range of gluten free goodies, lots of cruelty free household and personal care products and loads of special offers. They also have a price match promise so I don't need to shop around for cheaper shopping.

On the other weeks I shop at Iceland on-line for bags of frozen meat and veg...and shop locally for top up shopping at the co-op as they buy a lot of their products from local farmers and promote British food. Their own branded household cleaning and personal care products are cruelty free.

Locally I shop at the co-op and do a Tesco delivery each week. Asda is 25 miles away, Lidl 11 (and dont deliver) and Aldi is also about 25 miles away. As I dont drive and cant carry shopping very far most of my shopping of any kind is done online

I have a Sainsbury shop within easy walking, but it is either bike or car depending on quantity of shopping. I like Lidl and try to go every time I am in the town. Asda and Tesco will be used on occasions, but they are further away, larger shops and so take more time
