Anyone else having trouble with Twitter?

For the past 2 days I've been unable to access my Twitter account. To be more precise, I sign in and immediately after I sign in the page seizes up and IE closes/restarts. Anyone else having this problem and is there a way to correct it?

I have not had any problems, I use Firefox so you could try that.

Thanks for the info., I've used IE forever and hate to load anything else onto this ancient 7 year old laptop for fear of killing it before I can afford to replace it. Do you have to download anything to use Firefox? If not, I might just give it a try.

Other than downloading Firefox itself, nothing more is needed.

Can't be of any help but I use IE and am not having any problems.

Not having problems getting into Twitter.

Before downloading Fire Fox, would recommend some basic maintenance that might right the problem before downloading. Do antiviral sweep, anti-malware sweep, update your drivers, also run cleaner & registry sweep. There are free programs available for all of these.

Also go into tools menu > settings > show advanced settings > find network > click on "change proxy settings" > click on "LANS settings" (make sure no check marks are in any of the 3 boxes, if checked off, remove.) > click ok > scroll down to "Reset Browser Settings" > select "reset". Should see a big difference in performance if browser changes were made by whoever.

I know this sounds cumbersome, but I go through this process, because of so much stuff out there, and because changes to the browser can happen. I also report back any issues encountered when requested. This helps report origin of issues. Hope this is of some help.
