Awesome pics Al - that flooring is so realistic - just exactly like a river bed. I would definitely like to paddle my way across that floor - barefoot!
Top marks to you all - a brilliantly well done project.

I just turned the computer on for a few to print out some things to work on during the thunder storms. I'm still here, the sun came out. I should have known, only 30% chance of percipitation today. We've got some big ol beautiful clouds though, maybe sometime today.
Sues, the house next door is empty. Has been for years. The children of my lifelong neighbor used it on the occasional weekend and sometimes it was rented out. The daughter's husband was in and mowed yesterday and today, and he says not sold. Oh well. Nobody wants to live out here so far from the conveniences of life.
I YDC, Do you?
Al, just gorgeous! Kudos!!!
That's funny, Wyo, I've always wanted to live in the country, far far away from anyone and anything, probably cause I'm an introvert and shy as all get out, and I so love nature and natural beauty. I told bf one day I'll move back to NY and buy a piece of land near the river and put a little house on it and I'll live there with my dogs and cats and books, just as happy as a clam. Of course he doesn't believe me, but the older I get, the more I value my space. Of course bf's just the opposite, the life of the party. I told him he can visit when the party dies down.
Hang in there Sister Sal, life is crazy sometimes, (I never pictured myself single and jobless at almost 46), but we can and will turn things around with a little help from our friends and a whole lot of tequila.
Hugs and cheers and happy holidaze!!!
good morning everybody

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Long weekend is over. Time to go to work and get some rest.
That floor is something special. Well done you two
Hey guys, thanks for the nice things you said and cool music Poscar!!!
Al that work you've done is fantastic, I remember when you first got the idea of that and put it on a tile or something of similar size, that is one beautiful job, lovely to see the photos of the finished results.
As to my situation Al, as I said some real highs and lows so it's not all bad!
As some of you may remember when I last spent quality time in here things were not great then, it hasn't been an easy ride to be honest for a number of reasons. Including real health issues I'm still battling but I'm slowly but surely turning a corner I think. In between and despite it all, and even against the odds in some ways, I have managed to turn a pretty ugly situation around and lay some really good seeds and build a new life for myself, but I'm not completely out of the woods yet.The health stuff itself is complex too, but in that too I have just made some really good breakthroughs, too complicated to go into it all on here, but regarding one of the major health issues I've had it is a battle in the UK as myself and other people in the same boat have not been getting the support or proper treatment made available to us, in fact the oppositte has been the case largely but I think it is all about to change. Certainly in Wales the Welsh government are getting involved now to turn it around and get a proper centre opened up in Wales. Will explain more by pms but it is exciting to think I can at least finally stop banging my head against a brick wall as Ive been doing for too long now!
Right enough of all that, had a wonderful day today visiting a place in rural Wales where a friend of mine is selling her house. It is a little piece of Paradise for sure! Nice to know there are still some untouched places of such sheer unadulterated beauty left on our Isles. Rich with nature and wildlife too. Had my batteries recharged!
Anybody here got whatsapp? Trish? Sue? Al? Anyone?
Nos da as they say in Welsh. Will try and pop in tomorrow
