Cider sounds yummy, mind if I join you, Your Majesty?

Had a wild experience just an hour ago. I was outside playing with Winston, went to go inside and saw something lying across the stair that I thought was a leash that fell off the pegboard. I bent to pick it up and it was a large black snake that slithered away! Scared the crud out of me; I think I'll be wearing my glasses more often.

Bows and misses the chair but saves the coffee...

    Cheers,

    Hello and good evening everyone.
It has been a lovely day here in wonderful sunny Suffolk - after lawn mowing and weeding duties JR and I cooked our dinner outside on the stove.
We have shared a few glasses of wine together, and chilled out, listening to good music - perfect!

I am very, very happy to announce that another little one has entered into this world and joined our ever increasing family .....

My kid sis Victoria has given birth to a dearly wanted little boy.
Vicky was totally devastated when Dad died - she took it harder than the rest of us.
Dad was Raymond George, and so folks .... welcome Frayzer George - born just a few hours ago!
I will post a decent pic when I have one.

    Drinks are on me -

Ladies and gentlemen - a toast......
Please raise your glasses to welcome baby Frayzer George .... Cheers!

    Cheers,
HOLY SNAKESKINS Sues ..... what a horrible thing to happen - I think I would have swooned on the spot ... arrgghh!
We did have a Cornsnake in the garage in Florida, but we knew it wasn't venomous, so let the chappie out to freedom.
We also had Black Widow spiders and a nest of Scorpions ... didn't harm them - just released them into the wild.
Luckily, we don't get many exciting critters here - apart from the huge hornets and wasps and moths that are beginning to make UK their home with the global warmings. I tell ya - I would rather face a deadly Cobra ready to strike than a moth ..... I am totally petrified of them.
JR wants me to get some counseling or hypnotherapy - I have now become afraid of brightly coloured butterflies ... and they also know I'm scared of them and come after me ... arrgghh!
PS: JR is afraid of wasps and hornets - he got stung in Florida when he was cutting the grass, a hornet went down into his shirt and he had a bad experience.
I have to get rid of wasps and hornets for JR if they enter the house - (he loves all Bees, they are just fine) .... and I just live in total fear of moths. They are ungodly critters - only appear when it's dark ... oh ****e .... I'm scaring myself already. All windows will be shut and curtains closed when it is moth season.
