Just jump right in with your first listing and if you get stuck with anything come back here and shout, someone will be around to help a hand.
Once you have put up your listing let us know and there are peeps here who will offer advice on how your listing looks and how you maybe able to improve it. I will tweet your listings to help you get views, least I can do for a fellow Cymro. :-)
I am still a newbie here myself, not listing at the moment as preparing for a holiday next week, so got a bit of spare time and if you get stuck with the listing process at all give me a shout and I will help where I can.
All the best, and nos da for now.
Anne
Thank you Anne, the other half is on 2-10pm shift so may have a go later on, have taken a few pics, so fingers crossed!!
And great to know there is help out there
Thank you to everyone who has replied with support, suggestions and made me feel welcome!
Glad to hear you're getting a start; as Squern said, a little at a time is the way to go, even if it's just a few items a day (or week, depending on your schedule). I remember when I first started listing jools, (one listing at a time as I wasn't importing and had no idea how to use NinjaLister), thought I'd never get them all done and then I had to go back and edit all the pix, as I'm a lousy photographer, but I got it done and you can, too. Just remember: slow and steady wins the race.
Oh and if you need a good photo editing program (I did) check out PicMonkey.com and/or BeFunky.com, both great free photo editing sites.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
Oh listed 1 item! took forever hope it is okay, please take a look xx
Hi there,
Well done on taking the plunge and getting your first listing done. :-)
It looks good to me, although I have never had cause to buy children's shoes. The picture looks good and is nice and clear, I like the way you have shown the sole of one shoe so that the buyer can see there is on wear to the sole or scuffs.
Two minor points, firstly it may be worth stating the UK size equivalent in the title as prospective buyers may not search for a European size, I would imagine a buyer more likely to search 'Boys Sandals size 12', and secondly, the box looks a little scuffed, may be worth noting 'box is a little scuffed due to storage'.
I have tweeted your listing for you so hopefully that will get you some extra views fom that, and a quick search through the ebid forums will find you some tips to make sure your listing gets picked up on Google shopping, more experienced members will be able to help you more with this.
Good luck and keep listing, and if you need any help or just a bit of moral support feel free to give me a shout.
All the best
Anne :-)
Thanks Anne - will see if I can edit the listing for those 2 points, thanks for the tweeting, so much to learn in technology!!!!!
You'll soon get the hang of it.... just take your time!
Here's the link about Google shopping.... if you complete the listing form as it should be then it will be uploaded by eBid to Google = more potential Buyers!
