I've watched this film twice over the past 2 days. It's a great film but not portrayed as true because there were only 3 that made it to freedom.

WW11 is an era I love to read about Pat and can only guess of the horrors.

Hollywood is good at skewing a story - notice how large Eagle Squadron was before the US joined the war if you judge from Hollywood films!
