When I'm searching for an item and scrolling down a gallery list it is very useful to know the numbers of bids that have already been made. If a lot of people are bidding, the item is usually worth looking at. At the moment on ebid you have to open each item separately to find that out. And that may be giving an inaccurate impression. Maybe people are opening the item to see if others are interested ... not because they're seriously interested themselves. At least that's what I do. For sellers, the more people who are bidding on an item, the better it is, as there's nothing like a bit of competition to push the price up. Perhaps the "views" column on the gallery page could display bids instead of views ... or as well as views? Just a thought.
