Good question. You could end the listing and relist, after explaining why to the bidder, at least I think you could without BBing, not 100% sure though. If not, I'd just let it run. Just my 2 cents...

Send him a PM I'm sure he won't mind being blackballed for a minute while you correct things. Just don't forget to put him back on so he can bid again !
