It seems poor old Alas--tair Cook can't win a trick, what with reviewed decisions going against him, missed fielding chances & unfortunate placements, I must admit I started to feel sorry for the guy.
After setting a good defendable target, the Aussie batsmen were just too good.
It's obvious that the English need at least one century maker per match & more aggressive play in all facets of the game, if they are to win anything here.

The English boys have a right to be disappointed & should have won, save for some freakish bating by Faulkner with Oz winning by 1 wicket & 3 deliveries.

A fantastic century by Eoin Morgan (including 6 huge 6's), catches that stuck, better field placements & everybody on their toes in the field, one could see in them, the belief that they could win the game, & it showed in their play.
