That annoying "Added by seller...." appears on all the ones I have bulk edited.

    Why?????????
    Thats what bulk edit does.
They have been asked many times to stop it going on but it looks like no go

    But what about the needles?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND I would expect the rocking chair (as Illustrated) to sit in.
    AND £1.00 postage.

My neutral feedback on here was from a buyer who wanted the abbreviations!

Exactly how difficult is it to figure out K1, P1???

    Something like:

THIS ITEM IS FOR A PATTERN ONLY. I will happily combine postage and pass on the savings to you, the buyer. Please await combined invoice before payment.

    Good thinking.

Now that you can use different notices on sections of the shop it would mean that there could just be a special notice applied to the knitting patterns whilst keeping a standard notice on other items.

As for the topic of this thread........, it is not that people don't make daft mistakes - but when they receive the item and then review the listing purchased, how do they still manage to come to the conclusion that it is not as described !!!???

There was one on eBay a few weeks ago who made the papers complaining that the item he received was not as described. The title was something like 'X-Box One Picture' and he was complaining that he got a PICTURE. Then again he did pay £400 for it.

Knit Wit, I did a test on one of my pattern listings. Bulk edit to add and put a message that shows up "added by seller" at the bottom of the listing. At least I won't have to edit them individually. Thanks again for the help.

    You're welcome, Marie.

This was the one snag of bulk editing: It appears at the bottom of the description. Too time consuming to go through the whole lot individually.

Have now added to notices so it appears top and bottom of listings.

    OVERKILL????? Yep, but forearmed etc.

I've not had this problem (yet) but I have a running problem on the other E-site with people who actually want a PDF not a paper pattern. I don't sell copies because the copyright situation is NOT straightforward. Some apparently ancient patterns may have living copyright owners. I have, just once, created a pdf and emailed it so the buyer could start work before her pattern arrived (in Australia) but did she say thank you? No! So why did I do the work for a £1.50 sale? Shan't be doing it again!
