Default Buddy Point Pound Dollar Value

Ever wonder about the equivalent value of buddy points? Ever wish you could trade them for merchandise or cash (dosh)? This would be similar to "Reward Bonus Credits" earned when you make purchases with a credit/debit card. You do not pay for the reward directly, but it can be redeemed for cash, gift cards, or merchandise.

I have always wished that I had the option to trade or barter them off with other sellers. Think of all the sellers who do not use their buddy points.

    So the math:

    1 Dollar = x buddy points
    1GBP = y buddy points
    1 Euro = z buddy points

I'm not really bothered, either, although I like some of the eBid merchandise and would like the opportunity to buy it separately. I'm more interested in my feedback build-up.

Using eBid currency they'd all be worth the same amount!

Ditto this. I'm still waiting for eBid to reissue the coffee mugs with the eBid logo. Hint, hint...

Best wishes for many sales to all,

By "the math" I mean a way to attach a currency value to the buddy points.

    Methods of Earning Buddy Points

    • Referring a Buddy 1.00 points
    • Your Buddies Upgrading to SELLER 2.00 points
    • Your Buddies Upgrading to SELLER+ 5.00 points
    • You Making a Bid Meeting Reserve 0.50% of reserve price (max 5.00 points)
    • You Winning by Bidding 1.00% of final bid (max 5.00 points)
    • You Purchasing Using BuyNow 1.00% of BuyNow price (max 5.00 points)
    • You Gaining Positive Feedback 0.50% of final bid OR BuyNow price (max 5.00 points)
    • 'Follow' or 'Like' us on various social platforms via 'My Social' 20 Points each

Selling ($) - 0.5% (0.005) of final auction sale amount (bin or bid)
Positive feedback received - 0.5% (0.005) of final auction sale amount (bin or bid)

Buying ($) - 1% (0.01) of final auction sale amount (bin or bid)
Bid & Reach Reserve Price - 0.5% (0.005) of reserve amount
Positive feedback received - 0.5% (0.005) of final auction sale amount (bin or bid)

    Promoting eBid
    Refer Buddy - 1 point
Buddy Upgrades to "Seller" - 2 points
Buddy Upgrades to "Seller +" - 5 Points

" 'Follow' or 'Like' eBid on various social platforms via 'My Social' " - 20 pts each

    The
selling and buying represent cash income or outlay, so could be related to the equivalent value of the buddy point.
For example, if a seller sold a coin for $100 x 0.005 = 0.5 buddy points. The buyer of the coin would receive 1 buddy point, and the seller would receive 0.5 buddy points. So I guess one could say that 1 buddy point has a cash equivalent value of $100 to $200 for a buyer/seller respectively. Good thing we don't have to buy them directly.

Promoting eBid seems the way to go if more buddy points are needed or desired!

Views on buddy points are mixed among respondents, as are most view points. See nothing wrong with choices (options) available for different site users. Couple more days available for aditional votes or comments. Thank you for votes and comments.
