I do hope there are not many injured. Thoughts go out to all the families and friends of those involved. Thank goodness it didn't catch fire.

Simply horrendous. My prayers are with those folk badly injured in hospital, with their families and with the fire fighters who are so bravely trying to rescue those left inside.

I can not remember the last time a Police Helicopter crashed.

Having had some experience with helicopter crashes myself, I'm always sad to hear of one going down. It is especially hard when one goes down in a populated area or into a crowded building. My heartfelt sympathy go out to the victims.

BBC news are reporting three dead so far, Sky news are reporting at least six, so sad.

Saw it on the news when i went to bed and watched until about 3 am, was sad to hear that some have died this morning.
