Last time it was Doll House - utterly brilliant intelligent drama.
Yes, I've seen all of Dollhouse and I agree that what there is of it is very good. It's one of Joss Whedon's babies. Another one of his which was tragically short lived but truly excellent is Firefly - full-on space Sci-Fi but very solidly grounded in human relationships.

    Dr Who........right from the beginning.

    Starting with Peter Cushing
William Hartnell was the first Doctor. I don't think there's much left of him in the archives. Pity.

    True,
but if your going to count Paul Mcgann who only did one movie and a mini radio series
then Peter Cushing who did 2 movies should also be counted.

The next Dr Who is number 13 not 12.

If you count TV series, the next Dr Who will be number 11
as Paul McGann never played the Dr in a TV series,
a Tv film yes, but not a series.

According to the Dr. Who Facebook page, Matt Smith is/was the 11th Doctor.

From the BBCAmerica Dr. Who site...

    About the Show

The 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who is upon us! The occasion will be marked by a global simulcast of “The Day of the Doctor,” an all-new 75-minute special starring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor and John Hurt as the mysterious “rogue” Doctor. Also starring Jenna Coleman and Billie Piper, “The Day of the Doctor” premieres November 23, 2013.
Rounding out the celebration, An Adventure in Space and Time premieres November 2013. This docudrama reveals the fascinating story behind how it all began 50 years ago. David Bradley stars as First Doctor William Hartnell.
The Twelfth Doctor, recently revealed as Peter Capaldi, will make his first appearance in this year’s Christmas special, succeeding Matt Smith in the role.
Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith first stepped into the TARDIS in 2010 and will leave the role at the end of this year after starring in the unmissable 50th Anniversary in November and regenerating in the Christmas special. During his time as the Doctor, Matt has reached over 30 million unique UK viewers and his incarnation has seen the show go truly global. He was also the first actor to be nominated for a BAFTA in the role.

    Hi.

The reason Paul McGann is counted and not Peter Cushing is that the Cushing films were completely outside the Doctor Who continuum whereas Sylvester McCoy's Doctor was shot at the beginning of the McGann film and promptly regenerated into Paul McGann's Doctor so therefore is part of the Doctor Who continuum although the regeneration of McGann into Eccleston was never filmed.

Little Women; never tire of Louisa May Alcott and then if it's not too greedy, I'd love to see It's a Wonderful Life again with James Stewart and Donna Reed.

I'm sorted! I've just received 'Carry On Xmas' dvds from Sucadot (Many thanks) and something that I've never watched before! Great - for once, not something I've seen a thousand times before and it's British. But every year I love to watch Dicken's Christmas Carol and I cry every time. I remember reading the book as a child and being so impressed by the cleverness of it all happening in a single night - MAGIC!
