Right, Pink. To get yourself noticed - You have a board called "Vintage Pyrex"? Now search for other people with pyrex boards Search box is top left. Follow those boards. Pin ALL your pyrex stock to your pyrex board and what have you got? You have a shop window!

    Exactly.

And make sure you have all (or most of) your stock pinned first before you follow all of those boards. Because when those people check out who is following them then you want them to see all of your items and re-pin or visit your eBid shop.

By pinning other peoples pins you are just doing the work for other people - you want them to do your work. Nothing really wrong with pinning other peoples items (certainly do so if they are eBid sellers) but you want your items to be the focal point of your pinterest board.

I learned it all from you, Dean!

After following your advice about Pinterest my followers who are not ebid sellers have increased dramatically and what used to be an event - having a picture repinned - is now at least a daily occurrence.

    Keep stalking

You may know this already, but: If you are doing a stalking campaign based on a specific board you have created then it is best to have it as the first one on your pinterest boards page. Meaning that those people who check out who is following them can immediately find the board that is the most relevant to them, because it is the most prominent one. You can drag and drop your boards around on pinterest to change the order.

If you are pinning other peoples pins then you are doing work for other people and promoting them - if you have a knitting pattern board then the focus of that board should be all about you and the items you are selling. If you really want to pin other peoples items then pin them to a different board within your boards.

By following targeted relevant pinterest boards that are not part of eBid you can get them to do your promotional work for your items. Once they check out your board the are also now likely to have knowledge of eBid.

This removes the need to edit out pins that have ended or sold.
I had my YDC auctions on pinterest, they are gone now, and i never took them down.
