Yikes, that is bad! It makes me wonder why the seller is allowed to continue selling on eBid. I'd thought there was a limit on number of neg. feedbacks and then the boot. Or maybe the limit is higher than I'd imagined?

The feedback was imported but why would you want to import it? If the seller isnt careful they will gain that sort of feedback here too.

I think a seller has to go negative to -3 or gain several negative feedbacks in a row to get suspended. Pretty sure it is written down somewhere in the Help pages - but I couldn't locate it with a quick look.

Like all such things on eBid...it's effectiveness is dependent on how well eBid police it (so possibly not very effective).

To be honest, if it bothers you then file a request to CS and if they remove it Hurrah! if they don't remove it then it is there to be lived with.
I think you would feel better if you at least tried to have it removed.
If you don't ask you don't get and no one has the right to judge what you choose to do. Its your feedback, not anyone else's ....Good luck

I had a think about it again and decided you were right- let Customer Services know and leave it to them to make the decision.
They looked into it straight away, and removed it .

They shouldn't give buyers/sellers the function to modify the feedback once it has been made. You shouldn't be able to give 'positive' feedback, then just change it to 'neutral' after having already given out a 'positive.'

"They" have given us just such a function. I've never had anyone change my feedback but I leave a positive on payment for my buyers and have changed when a buyer was vile about an item being lost in the post. I had refunded but she left an aggressive negative.

so if 3 seperate sellers leave you negative feedback because you paid promptly you'd get banned?
