Thumbs up Oh!!!! The cost of doing business. Ouch.

My buddy asked me to place his trailer on their site, and after a while it finally sold for the minimum asking price for the auction of $4000.00. 1 Bid.... Sold

So he was really happy when the client paid him in cold hard cash..
    HmmMmm... Money Talks. Bullsh*t walks.

Really pleased with the outcome, he paid off his visa card, got a full tank of petrol and had dinner at the pub.

A little while later he rang and said "I'm coming over. I got an email about the invoice from customer support & I dont understand it"

The listing price was $16.00 Aus..ran twice and then the final value price of $260.00.

A total of $292.00 was the total of his invoice from FeeBay. "ARE YOU FOR REAL"

Just another reason why I.. and many others have joined eBid.

    He mentioned the site (Feebay)

I think what he was getting at was the fact an item listed for sold for less than the actual listing price after all the fees were paid out

It cost him $16.00 Aus to list the item for sale.
It was re - listed, so that's $32.00 Aus.

The final value fee was $260.00 Aus

The total cost to sell on the bay was $292.00 Aus.

    for a $4000.00 Aus. sale.

Lucky the buyer didn't use Paypal.

If he had sold it through ebid, it would have cost him $100.00 Aus.

Or AU$ 2.00 for 2 x Featured listings (always assuming that it sold on eBid), a saving of AU$ 290.00

Sorry Juliebabe25, it was very generic., but yes the others saw the light.

Sooooooo expensive when he was given the bill. His next comment to me went something like " 8*&&%^# hell any wonder people are leaving them. They can shove that up their &^%#@"

I told him to tell everyone he knows and to join this great site.

Would love to see the look on the vicar's face when he tells him (though one vicar I met could swear better than me).

    Crazy feebay

I sold an item on feebay last year for 1900 pounds sterling, well below market price. Buyer paid by PayPal. Total fee from the robbers on feebay 220.47 pounds sterling. Never again!

That is why I am here!
