Had this happen to me a few times.
I have now bought an address stamp to use which prints my name and address-the print is quite small so there is little chance of any confusion for the posties.......famous last words....!!

Happened to me too, and when I took it back to the post office, the clerk even remembered me posting it!
I have had this happen several times as well over the past months.
I write the buyers address in very large letters/numbers on the front of the envelope and on the back I write 'sender' in large letters with my return address underneath in very small writing. However one wonders these days, having had several items that I have purchased on-line being returned to the sender, if there are some postmen out there who have difficulty in reading the addresses. I do wonder what is happening in Royal Mail at the moment, it used to be such a reliable public service. BB.
This happens to me too in Canada.
I have had 3 packages returned to me a day after I mailed them over the past 3 years. This was while using the paypal shipping lable powered by pitney bowes. Pitney Bowes does the postal meters for large businesses (I think). You would think that Canada Post would be set up to read their labels.
Now I circle in red the buyers address. None of those have ever come back.
If this is of help this is my own lable that I use and since using them for last few years I have had no problem. It is very easy to create using MS word.
I have just found out two packages I posted from things on the Bay both on Sept 3rd, have gone missing - since I always send Signed For, for obvious proof of delivery reasons - to separate people in different places...
Very unhappy with RM at the moment.
