Hoping for a chill day here. Turned the pool heater on a couple days ago in anticipation of the mid 80 temps this weekend.
Fill my cooler hit the pool, listen to music and relax all day is my plan.
Something on the grill later and maybe get a fire going as nightfall hits.

Planning on working on my web site today. Packaged up a crankshaft for the feeder fingers on a baler this morning, but missed the 11:15 closing of the post office - grrrrr! Trouble with the DSL was the reason. I usually don't try to mail on Saturday, but I thought I could make this one, and I figured they are still baling hay in Texas. (sigh)

Fletcher had a fit yesterday and wants to go to college, so I guess I have to send him home - Boo Hoo! Thursday to DIA and I'll be on my own again.

I have a lovely pink Playboy beachball - we could play ball games in your pool .....

The weather here just lately has been horrendous - the winds are worse than yours Wyo - I had a Honeysuckle growing up a drainpipe around the back - the winds blew up from the South West and totally ripped out the drainpipe off the wall.
I spent half of the day cutting the Honeysuckle away from the drainpipe - and trying to make things safe. The drainpipe was at a dangerous angle, so I completely removed it, and it is now lying flat on the ground.

My sweet peas were growing up a trellis, they are now flattened to a 45% angle - and the gazebo has now spent yet another year all packed up - not worth putting it up again. I'm so depressed with this wind. Can't even cook on my gas stove outdoors - wind blows it out.
So brassed off - we have booked another holiday to our favourite place - the Costa Del Sol - we are leaving Suffolk and it's winds on 24th September - just hope that Laura, my son's wife, has her baby before we go, otherwise I will be in deep trouble with my son. He will never forgive me if I am not around when his baby is born.

Sorry to hear that Fletcher is leaving you Wyo - seems like you two guys were having fun together - it's horrible to be without kids. I miss mine terribly.

Right, before I find anything else to moan about - lets all have a drink --- .
