Wouldn't that depend on the size of the Mason jar. I have something of a fair size collection of fruit jars but many are of different sizes. I particularly like the ones with their original zinc lids.

I doubt those lids would fit on the "old-school" jars that used the zinc lids. Best thing to do I would think is TRY IT!

To collectors the zinc lids are the more valuable.

While I'm not absolutely positive, I don't believe the thread pattern has changed so the Cheese container lids might still fit fairly old fruit jars.

You're right, JaBek1 .. I tried one on an old jar from out in the storage shed...fit like a glove!
