I've just listed some more stuff, tried to put the word exempt in the barcode area in the lister, but it wouldn't accept it.

Am I correct in assuming, that we need to edit our items after the 15th to have them uploaded to Google?

will we be able to do a bulk edit to put the word exempt in them all at once as if not google shopping can go and toddle off.

I hope so Buttons but it's the 65 million dollar question right now I think.

I've just tried the bulk edit and can't see which box to use to enter "EXEMPT".

Can anyone give me a hint? (Sometimes I can't see for looking!)

Instructions are to put it in the Barcode box ~ but I think somebody has posted that they tried to do it on a single listing edit and it wouldn't accept it. 15th July is the start date I think.

edit: here is the google info:

Enforcement of new Google Shopping Feed Specifications

For accounts that are currently exempted from requiring unique product identifiers, Google Shopping will start enforcing these new requirements for unique product identifiers on July 15th, 2013 in the US, and September 16th, 2013 in all other target countries. Enforcement for all other accounts will start July 15th, 2013 for the US, France, Germany and the United Kingdom, and September 16th, 2013 for all other target countries. Non-compliant items might then be disapproved and disappear from Google Shopping.
Account level exemptions for unique product identifiers won’t be supported after the above mentioned dates – the 'identifier exists' attribute should be used instead.

My stamp listings will all be exempt.

I've just listed two stamps - ( I use list similar, when listing as a template) - and entered the word EXEMPT on the first listing.

On the list similar second listing the word EXEMPT was not there, so I had to type it in.

I then checked the list similar feature again and have to confirm that the EXEMPT does not appear automatically and will have to be typed in every time.

I hope this is a temporary glitch which can be put right by eBid.
