Hello everyone, just wanted to stop in and say hi. It's been an awful day, my dear sweet Duke died this morning after coming into my room to say goodbye. I still can't believe he's gone, I don't know what to think, just numb all over, haven't felt like this since my grandmother died when I was 15. Sorry to be a downer, just thought I'd let all my friends know what happened.

Oh sues darling, I'm so very sorry to hear this awfully sad news.
At least you got chance to say goodbye - when my last dog died, Woolie Wolf, he was so ill he couldn't walk.
He died in front of me in the early hours of Christmas Eve, 9 years ago.
He was only 7 - and only back from the vets for 7 or 8 hours.
I swear blind that the vet OD'd him with a vaccination that went horribly wrong - he only had a cough to start with.
He wet downhill so rapidly - and I frantically called 5 vets, everyone I could find - not one would come out to him, Christmas Eve early hours.

Did you get the vet in or were you too late?

Sorry to hear that news sues. Then again and although you miss him it is better then watching him suffer for longer then he has.

Hi Al, if Zildjian is the Brand and 1117 is it's MPN why not put that on the listing form for uploading to Google?

1117 is my number. This is my 1,117th cymbal I have repaired for resale. I don't number cymbals I repair for others.

But you get my point? You have a brand - do you know its model number or name then it would be good for google.

They don't use model numbers just names. Bar codes are usually stickers under the bell, long gone before I get them.

Thank you so much everyone, it makes me feel better to know I have such good and caring friends. Duke died too quickly to take him to the vet, he had another stroke and then he was gone within a minute. I can hardly believe it still as I'd thought he was getting better yesterday and when he walked in to see me this morning, on his feet and steady for the first time in days I thought it was good news. At least he didn't suffer paralysis, I'd have gladly wheeled him around but he was so active he'd have hated it. The cat is still confused, keeps looking for him and behaving so nicely she's hardly the same cat, maybe some of his spirit is in her now.

when my Patch's died,
I used to imagine him jumping up on my Dad and licking him all over.
It gave me a warm feeling that they are content and happy where ever they may be.
