Nothing messed up but no cymbals cut, repaired or cleaned. I did get the feet designed and cymbals selected though and that's the most time consuming.

Happy Monday! 3" of snow for the morning drive.

Oopsie, sorry! Won't say any more except last night's episode was exceptionally good.

The game was good, too, very close and the power outage kept it going til I could get back after Downton Abbey. WTG Ravens!

    Happy Monday and cheers,

    HELLO everyone -
now back from my travels - everything was just perfect -

spent Fri evening with Teagan, Matt and Abigail.
Later - Teagan, JR and I hit the city - Matt kindly babysat.
We went out and got rather rat-assed - (No - VERY rat assed!)
it was all Teagans fault - she was getting shots and shooters - sambuca, glitter and jager bombs - so of course I joined in, JR was wise, and didn't - miserable sod! lol!!! ( He is a real ale man. )

Saturday we spent time with mum, awww - you should have seen the cake she had - it was her 85th birthday, and all the staff at mums care home joined in - what a totally wonderful bunch of dedicated people they are.
Mum is doing fine - although she has put a lot of weight on.
I think it's because everyone takes her chocolates and good things to eat - and she no longer goes for long walks like she used to - - but she looks well, and we spent several happy hours together - although mum cannot converse sensibly anymore, I knew that she was happy. Her mannerisms told me that.

We spent Sat eve with my sis Karen and her hubby Mick - we had a lovely roast dinner and wine - then we went to meet up with yet another sis Lynn and her hubby - did a pub crawl around Penkhull, (brill group at one pub - a live 5 piece band - complete with drummer. You don't get many venues offering that) -
then ended up back at Karens for yet more snacks and drinks.

    Sunday - ouch!
Got headache big-time - dragged my bones outta bed for the big day - little Maicies's christening

The service (Catholic) was lovely, and my sisters had fetched mum from the care home as well - and she was blessed by the priest - as were we all.
Maicie was very good, and so were all the other little ones, including Abigail.
Party was just fantastic - balloons, banners, confetti, magician for the kids, champagne toast, and the most magnificent spread of food I ever did see.

Victoria and Rich must have spent a fortune on their daughters christening 'do' - maybe because Victoria has only one daughter, and can afford it - - then they went 25 years and little Maicie decided to join our happy family!

Well - after everyone had left the party - we took all the leftover food back to Victorias house -- quite a lot got place outside and we had a very late night, I think we crawled into our pits about 2 or 3 am.

Had Staffie cheesy n' bacon oatcakes for breakfast - then hit the road back to Suffolk - had a clear run back, which was great.
On Friday we were involved in a horrendous traffic jam, due to an accident on A1. It took us almost 6 hours to get from Suffolk to Nottingham, and I am not a patient woman!

I do so miss all my family - but I am so glad to be back home -
    I'm tired out now -
Just wanted to say hello to y'all!

PS: Sal - you need to keep that drummer boy in check .
Seems like he doesn't afear Ms Lewis - I think he WANTS her to punish him.
