I Just Had Two Sales Were PayPal Is Telling Me That The Address Is Unconfirmed Would You Still Ship The Item
Absolutely not. Send a 'question' via your AAL to your buyer requesting the address they want it shipped to. This way when they reply it will be on record where they want it sent. I would also send an email to your buyer's addy (you'll see it down on the listing toward the bottom). Most times, but not all, it's just a matter of that the buyer hasn't updated their PayPal account for their address. But the general rule still applies...CYA (COVER YOUR #SS)!!
I Just Received A Response From The Buyer That It Is The Correct Address Might Just Send It With Signature Confirmation To CMA

I don't believe a "Confirmed Address" is required with PayPal any longer. Is the shipping address in the PayPal transaction details the same as the one the buyer wants you to ship the item to?
I have never had a problem with an unconfirmed address. If the address are the same on paypal and the site the item was bought from you are normally safe to send. What I have found is that if it is unconfirmed the buyer as less right to do a charge back etc... but that is from paypal uk not paypal usa so it might be different.
If the address on PayPal and the address on eBid are the same, I ship it. If they are different, I contact the buyer.
Agree. Paypal confirmed address just confirms a billing address, which may differ from a shipping address.. Might have bills sent to a P.O. Box in a town where I work, since my working hours might interfere with ability to get "home" in time to pick up the mail, but as I could not have the package delivered to me at work, then I'd want it delivered to my home (street) address. In such a case, my shipping address would differ from my billing address, but Paypal can only confirm a billing address as shown on your bank account.. - that is the confirmed address. (Which should of course match up with the ebid account billing address as well.. )
As long as due diligence is taken (If it "smells" like a fraud, it often is - I.E. high dollar purchases and a buyer that is all anxious to get it shipped, vastly different addresses, or an address that does not match the zip code, etc.) , you usually wont have an issue shipping to a corrected or ship-to address.
Many changes yet again, started a new venture, and you can watch my store grow here: Really Rural Woodworks
I would - I have several times, and never had a problem to date.
