    Default Banned item removed.

I just had a "banned" item (3' pocket knife) removed. The problem is with over 3,000 items I have a very hard time time finding this item as all of the listing info is deleted. Is there any way the listing could so as "unsold", or at least tell me what my "SKU" number was?

I had a kitchen knife set removed, which I thought was allowed. The items are totally removed from the site so there is no way of viewing information on the listing. Penknives have always been banned so in a way you are lucky it was not removed earlier.

I understand. The problem is locating the item in my safe which is filed by my "sku" number. With over 3,000 items it is quite a chore. I hope that something can be done to help the sellers.

You might want to contact support: support@ebid.net to see if they have a record of the removed item.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Good luck on getting something done with your #SKU number, seems it is a touchy subject, for your own personal use only! Have the same problem, without a #SKU number hard to tell what object is being talked about.
Question ? Did eBid notify you of the removal? Did you get any info as to what was wrong, like why it was banned? ( I know knives are, but wondering about my items that may be banned, listed by mistake)

RiverHill - click the help button at the top right of any page, then look on the left, under listing and selling.

You will find a list of prohibited items. If in doubt, contact support via the same help button CONTACT US,.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Yes, I know the items that are banned on eBid, Question still is:
Does eBid notify the seller of the banned item being being pulled?
Just how did you find out the knives were pulled?

    30) What if I'm caught breaking the rules?

To keep eBid as clutter free to allow genuine sellers a clean and efficient marketplace in which to trade, we ask all sellers to not break our posting rules.
If any of your items cross this boundary, ALL your auctions will be deleted without notice and your account placed on hold. When you try and login while your account is on hold you will find you are locked out. To remove this ban, please email us using our contact form from the HelpDesk index page stating the item(s) you posted to create this ban and that you will not post such items any more. Please do not email us asking us what you did wrong, a simple apology will re-open your account almost immediately whereas a long winded email conversation will waste ours and your time.
If you state you will refrain from posting banned items and are caught a second time, the same will happen.
If you are caught a third time your account will be locked on a permanent basis. It is up to you to read the posting rules and abide by them, users are told about the posting rules when they start an auction. "I didn't realise" won't be a valid excuse!
Continuous negative feedback will also see your account placed on hold. Always make sure your first feedback is positive otherwise your account could be investigated.
Holders of multiple accounts will also be placed on hold.
Suspected bidders on their own auctions (shilling) will see their accounts placed on hold.
Users with incomplete address details will be placed on hold.
