How do I report a listing that is describing something it isn't?

Depending on the circumstances, you could pm the seller, or do a message at the bottom of the listing mentioning that the teapot they are selling actually has a picture of a set of men's socks..............so which are they really selling??? (you get the drift)......

I would agree there if it looks like a simple mistake on the sellers part
I think you should contact the seller first. Reporting a seller is just a tattle tale approach. If the sellers a con artist it would be easy to figure out and then you can tattle on them.
I agree. A simple pm to the seller would, probably, be most appreciated.
I recently listed a plate with an incorrect picture. Someone kindly asked me which I was listing and I was able to sort out before the item was purchased and any dispute started.
On the other hand, a friend of mine emailed a seller who had obviously mis-typed a postage amount - it showed as £199 for a knitting pattern. She was told to p..s off!
mad. I mean, people aren't infallible, but I would appreciate someone letting me know if I had made an error like that, rather than being rude.a friend of mine emailed a seller who had obviously mis-typed a postage amount - it showed as £199 for a knitting pattern. She was told to p..s off!
