    Thanks Cornish

I did not know that you could do that either!

I am sure there are lots of little tips and tricks and techniques that none of us know about.
Or if we did see them, we did not know their significance at the time.

I am on the fence on this, a potential buyer could see there were hundreds of views and either think there's lots of interest in this I had better buy it before somebody else does, or they could think all these viewings and nobody is buying, why?

For me it seems to make little difference, items with hundreds of views sell as do items with just a couple of views.

Yes I too would like to stop showing views to buyers.

If that is not possible, at least introduce a way of resetting the count on Run Until Sold, when it gets embarrassingly high.

Rather than views, I would rather see how many watchers listings are getting - that at least lets me know which listings are getting attention, and which listings I should give priority to when time comes to tweak listings

I'm personally not fond of the RUS option for setting the length of time a listing runs. While it is quite easy to set the counter to start over at the beginning of each auto re-post, since the RUS listing doesn't re-post that presents a problem. You might consider limiting your listings to a specific number of days with a set number of auto-reposts. It would allow you to set your counter to reset each time and give you the additional benefit of not having your listings at the end of search results.

Great idea, though for me, (and I guess some others) RUS is the best listing option for certain listings in the ebid venue - these listings need to stay as RUS.One example why being the continuity of URL pointing to the listing - as far as I am aware a relist changes the URL/item number??? To maintain a continuity, this would involve going through everywhere on the internet the URL for a listing has been placed and changing it to the new URL a relisting would result in. As well as time consuming this might not always be possible.

Far simpler IMHO for those who rely on RUS to have a means of resetting the number of views, if not manually perhaps automatically after a month or so..

Showing views to lookers is so outdated and does not do eBid well. Most know the score when they see 200 views for item, awful, minor league.
