I must admit it has been a right shambles and it makes me laugh when they call it the 'People's Olympics' when half the country haven't been able to get tickets because they were given to corporations ! I am looking forward to watching the athletics though albeit on the telly and not in person..

Well a sucessful time at the races. I got two winners and a second place so I broke even (well not really because the cadets lost it all again !) I had to laugh it was packed with teachers at the race course being the end of term. We bumped into loads of people we knew. One Catholic school had even brought their priest with them and it was announced over the tannoy that he had backed several winners - now that's what I call devine intervention !

Morning, all. Been up since 5 as usual and prepared an English Breakfast as requested by daughter. So haven't had time to report here. Now I am so full of food, I want to go back to bed and sleep it off I am glad this isn't the normal start of the day. I have an hour before I have to get ready for the doctor's appointment so may as well list a couple of things.
