Default Paypal Really are Taking the ****! They need regulating!

Sold an item and payment was put on hold for: 21 days - Or FB received - or delivery confirmation.

Delivery confirmed on the 13th - still holding funds.
Emailed them on 14th with tracking info - Still holding funds
Emailed them again today and the buggas are still holding my funds!

Now I am an experienced seller and have good feedback (over1500 over there)

So the motive it seems to me, is to get me to spit my dummy out and tell em to shove it; (lose my paypal account) which will effectively close down my ebay activities as I have to offer paypal as a payment option.

    I am Fuming!

Don't Blame you. This should not surprise you though. They are going the way of the dinosaurs. Wonder what will happen to all the money if they have to follow E**y into the dump.

Glad I don't keep money in my Paypal account. Never had an issue with Paypal, but then again, I don't do a lot of business. Of course I could just be very lucky.

Pink, I hope this gets sorted soon.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Could you give some indication as to why they have done this? Was it a high value item?

    Very worrying.

I always make sure I don't leave much in my PP account.

£30 value in total with postage. I've sold far more expensive stuff with no hassle at all!

Thing is Delivery has been confirmed for 2 plus days now.
PP have this information but seem to be ignoring it!

PP ought to be regulated and have a fair code of practice imposed on them.

Not good at all. I must say I havent had any major issues with Paypal myself but this IS worrying, and bang out of order, and why still hold on to the money once delivery confirmation is still there.

Incidentally what happens if feedback isnt left? Do you get the money after the 21 days? I am wondering as I have noticed fewer and fewer people on feepay seem to leave feedback

Annoying, sure, but I think the reason you suggest is unlikely. If PayPal want you gone, they just have to kick you out not waste time on Machiavellian plots!

I don't think they would like to 'be seen' kicking out small sellers. But as ebay's lacky they are quite capable of making things more than a little difficult and frustrating for small sellers.

Ebay and paypal are forever moving the goalposts.

I have an established selling record with 100% feedback over 1500+ items!

So what are they playing at?

If PayPa kicked all small sellers out they would lose a lot of the big sellers' customers. Very unlikely to happen,

Although I don't beleive it, I can understand eBay might not want the little people, PayPal, however, do need them
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

I don't know what they're playing at, but I suspect it's about doing things because they can! I still don't think they need to play tricks into making you leave, or that they would care about you telling your friends they'd killed your account. Why would that be *worse* than hacking you off to the point of such deep unhappiness that you leave... what, you're not going to tell anybody they did that? No, sorry, don't buy it. I'd have to think the main reason is: they make more money doing it.
