MaO Make an Offer needs note section

It would be nice to have a note area in the MaO.

Example --- I needed the item sent to another address and some sellers don't wish to send to an address that is not 'verified' --- I also wanted a message included.

The info needed to be a part of my offer as the sale was conditional to it..

Just agreed with this elsewhere before I saw this. Yes, a little text box for a message alongside the offer would be extremely useful.

I also vote for a spot to write a message when making an offer or replying to an offer! It has made the difference between making the sale and not.

i have also had situations where additional information or stipulations have had a bearing on an offer, much tidier to keep all the info together rather than having to message and make an offer individualy

MaO means "Make an Offer"

"Make an Offer" (MaO) is now available on eBid.


I would be interested in a comment box, if the comment were only visible to the seller and the buyer posting the comment/offer.

Where have you been? We have the offer option up and running now. Check out one of your listings in edit mode and you'll see the option above the Buy Now price.

As other have mentioned, the Make An Offer option is currently available. However, I would think that it would be important to have any special stipulations to an offer included with the offer as part of it rather than sin a PM. Actually, not all members sign into the forums so sending a PM probably would be effective in many cases.
