Hi All,
After defecting from Ebay, the only question I cannot seem to find an answer for is if ebid allows you to print your postage after a sale.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
Regards,
Leah

I think it really depends whether one is a seller, seller +, or the buyers method of payment. If you are seller+ and they pay via PayPal it is very similar to that other auction place. Just log into PayPal, print postage, and ship. Google checkout is a bit different. I can't seem to pay shipping straight out of the funds paid through Google so I pay out of my PayPal account. This is great post explaining how to buy and print postage through PayPal without buying something. http://www.hackernotcracker.com/2007...ansaction.html
Hello All!
I am an eBay defector eBid newbie. There is a simple way to ship via PayPal even if the purchase was NOT made via PayPal. Unfortunately, a PayPal rep. has told me that this workaround will be defeated in the not-so-distant future. Just enter the following into your browser's address window. This will take you directly to the shipping section of PayPal's site after you've logged into your account:
https://www.paypal.com/SHIPNOW
As I understand it this will go away before too long and then PayPal's integrated shipping service will work only when your customer uses PayPal to pay for their purchase from you. Once that happens it's either an online paid subscription service, such as Stamps.com, or waiting in line at the Post Office. Of course you can always pre-purchase an assortment of various value stamps if you can afford it, and you'd use the USPS's online shipping calculator to figure the correct combination of stamps to avoid waiting in line. It's not ideal, but I don't know of any other way.
I hope this helps. Wish me luck with my new Treasure Chest store on eBid!!
