Question for the Old Soldier, if he has the time and inclination to answer...............does he have any info on Huddlestone and the paraffin jet bombs of WWI? Ever heard of them?? Part of hubby's research for his military-related book-in-process.......I've looked online and can't find anything. PM me if you like, or I will send you my email, if he has any ideas.. I'm thinking the one refrence we found really is talking about something that never got a lot further than the drawing board................xoxoxo

I'll ask him in the morning Private Majesty. I don't know if he would know anything about them as his dad and grandfather were interned in a German prisoner of war camp during WW1 but you never know he might have read something about them.

Good morning! been up for hours, but needed to to some mending before packing a suit I lost yesterday. And I found a B.I.D. this morning.
Hope everyone is well (my back seems to behave itself so far). A lot warmer today. Next job will be to make an anniversary card on the PC and send it to daughter and her husband. It's 2 years today! Time goes so quickly. Coffee is made and I have a pot of green tea if anyone wants to share.

The day job today so up bright and early - for me anyway

Think I've done the bulk of listing edits - didn't realise so many had been corrupted after the last big site update. And it was only by chance that I found out. So kept busy all day yesterday, etc.

Would love another big mug of tea to help me wake up before I take Badge out for quick walk.
