Auction closed after payment

I recently purchased something and then the auction was closed by ebid, after payment was received through paypal. Do I need to start a dispute with paypal or what the heck do I do? Ebid hasn't given me any more information than the auction has been closed for "my protection".

I'm just giving this a stab in the dark here, as you have not enlightened us with exactly 'what' you purchased, and 'when' you purchased it. I'm assuming you have written support@ebid.net to get clarification on this. In the meantime, if you have paid via PayPal, and eBid HAS closed this auction for whatever reason(s), I would definitely start a dispute through PayPal to protect your money. I sure hope all works out well for you!

Agree with Mary, if it's a disputed auction and/or there's an issue with the seller you should definitely contact eBid support ASAP to find out what's up, also PP, if necessary, to recover your funds.

Normally and I will stress normally once a purchase is made the auction closes/ends unless of course there are more then one identical item up for sale within the listing. Otherwise someone else might make the purchase and it has already been sold.
