Bobby Flay - he's a hottie, and from what I've seen on the Food Network he can cook as well.
Oh and bf, he'd kill me if I didn't mention him, he can and has cooked almost anything, he's my hero.
Happy holidaze and many sales to all,
I thought it may have been my post, someone may not know that a lemon etc; has pith on it........tut!!!
that must have been someone taking the pith , off the lemon ? , if it has a thick skin ? it is is more noticeable......but we are or were taking about scones or cooking....behave..........ha ha ........papa.
I think we'd also mentioned Nigel Slater who is brilliant! For me - my favourites change with my cooking plans - eg for curries it would have to be Madhur Jaffrey and Pat Chapman.
My first ever cookbook as a newlywed was a Marguerite Patten ( she had her 96th birthday in November) and I am grateful to her for teaching me the basics and the traditional. I'd love to meet her - what a lot she would have to tell about the changes in food and diet in her life time, during the wars etc....
Even in my lifetime there have been so many changes - my mother's idea of a curry was mince with curry powder stirred into it and sliced banana and desiccated coconut on top... Pizza was unheard of when I was a child... and then it is such a pity that McDonald's has been heard of...
Raymond Blanc for me
I would drown all TV Chefs in the olive oil they insist on throwing over everything
Reincarnation is just another repeat
I love the clean and simple cooking of Bill Granger, the beautiful food produced by Ching He-Huang and of course like others on here, Nigel Slater (Real Food and Real Fast Food used so much in this household)
Happy Christmas Season to everyone and all the very best for 2012. Cheers!
