What a stupid thread.

The ships are in international waters - where they have every right to be. We are not in conflict with Russia (who, in my opinion, were never our main threat to peace). If, due to worsening weather, they should need to come into our waters they should be afforded safe harbour. Large navel fleets are becoming less and less relevant to a nation's security.

I think we have two on the books. We don't want them but are contracted to build them. When built I think we are loaning them to the French - though the way things are going we may be at war with them before then.
