Its a real miserable day here today, doesnt realy encourage anybody to want to do anything but keep telling myself I must do some work. have done all the relists so thats a start.

Yes the old soldier is still in Cornwall Private Buttons the building work on his part of our house probably won't be finished for another five weeks. We hope to get him up here before Christmas. He needs to say goodbye to all his friends down there and his half sister is coming from France to stay for a few days next week. He also needs to sell the house, he's not keen on leaving it empty for ages. We have several of the neighbours lined up to take some of the bigger bits of furniture when he leaves so there shouldn't be too much stuff left for my brother to get rid of when he does move.

Lance Corporal Pipeau whatever has happened ? Support are usually very good here with sorting out financial tangles, I hope you get it sorted.

Oh I hope so Becky, i feel really sorry for him having to leave his home and I think Christmas spent in his new home with all his family around will make all the difference and nice that his sister is going to stay.

I think he will miss Cornwall like me but I expect he will have a host of people visiting him here. He's got a better social life than me ! Even his next door neighbour ( who is a gem taking him to art exhibitions and cooking him roast dinners ) has said that she has friends living in Bristol so will come and see him when she's in the area. He has said that he's feeling ready for the move as some days he just hasn't got the energy to do things with the medication he has to take.

I'm getting back into the swing of things have just managed to get three new listings on so I hope everybody else is working hard ?!

Good morning! Woke at 3.30 - again! I hope my bodyclock adjusts itself to the new time soon. I have written a bit for my blog, loaded the dishwasher and switched it on (I don't always remember that bit) and am about to make some tea and coffee. So give it 5 minutes and you can safely join me in the canteen. I have also had to parcel up some tupperware (sorry) but might get the rest of daughter's too small clothes listed today to fill the gap. and I do want to think about the next YDC and do some sewing early. I have a plan.....

Don't worry about giving you five minutes Private Meebo it would take a hundred buglers to get this lot onto the parade ground at that time of the morning (myself included!)



Sigh, back to the old routine - umpteen cups of coffee to keep the builders going. Have got an appointment at the docs later and then have to see if those nice people in the post office are well plus do some ration shopping.

Morning - thought my listings were safe but keep getting enquiries

Got my shelves moved to my new 'office' yesterday - so start moving my eBid boxes tomorrow. But the day job today, so first another mug of tea.
