Our very own Chicago Bears playing football in London this Sunday. Anyone going to the game?

Good for them!!!! Go Cubbies!!!! No, I won't be there, but it's nice to hear about it!! I grew up by Chicago, but didn't see their games live.

I like baseball better than football...........but nice that the Bears are seeing London!!

Been in Chicago area all my life. Seen maybe 5 live Bears games. When I do watch I prefer the comfort of my recliner and $.50 beers a few steps away.
No idea why they are traveling to London to play a regular season game.

There has been one regular nfl game per season in Lond for the past few years now.

At the prices Wembley charge for this, I wouldnt cross the road for it.
(as the crow flies, it is only about 7 miles from me)

I didn't know the NFL has been doing this for years. Probably due to the fact I haven't been following football since I stopped betting on the games years ago...its just not the same.

Geez, over here we used to take the kids to a lot of baseball games. Even with free admission tickets the cost got way out of hand. Hot Dogs, snacks, couple beers and dont forget the souveniers. Dang, I had to get a second job just to pay for baseball outings so we switched to fishing.

I didn't know that either...I think it would be so cool to be able to be there! I don't know much about the Chicago Bears, but I am a big fan of college football, namely the Oregon Ducks!! Watching them real close this season hoping they'll go all the way...they got soooo close last year!

Ooh, wish I could go, huge NFL fan since way back, though being a NYer I've always rooted for the Bills.

The Bears played the Cowboys at Wembley Stadium in 1986. I saw the great Walter Payton playing.
I think it was the first NFL match in England, as far as I know there's been one every year since.
Bit far for me to go these days and costs more than I want to pay

2007 was the first regular season game in London.

2005 was the first regular season game outside the USA - was held in Mexico City.
