Thread: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!

Had a fine day- and a lovely shop - freezer and fridge and cupboards well stocked - and lotsof good offers on so got the Coke and the IrnBru and all the sweets for Hallowe'een - now if I can keep out of the sweeties I am all set....

I am not as charity minded I am afraid - we have Cash for Clothes here - they also take books, household, small toys, kitchen, shoes, belts - almost everything.... cleared out a lot of old tosh and heavy things and bought all the Hallowe'en goodies lol...

I don't bother giving to most charity shops around here as most of them are above them selves. " Oh no thats not the sort of thing we take" so why did they have a fake Gucci bag selling at £15

Which is why I only donate to the Sally Army shop now - I've done a bit of voluntary work with them and what isn't suitable to sell in the shop either gets used in their community work or maybe used in their disaster work overseas.

Having applied for the job of Manager of the local Red Cross shop some time ago and seeing the target bonuses that were being offered ..................they don't get anything from me anymore!

And on a less pleasant note, received my first neg. feedback today I can't refund or replace as it was charity listing which makes it worse.

Awww can't you get a refund from the P.O. if they have lost your parcel Private Mcc2 ? At least then you could refund the buyer and not be out of pocket so much.

It's hardly worth bothering and they'll only send a book of stamps if they agree a claim I'll sort something out, but not happy.

A book of stamps is always handy, but admittedly not as useful as cash

Stamps are always usefull to use on your next sales.

Hope Sarg you had a good evening,

Its good to have the coffee on

certainly in this house kettle on most of the time, & as soon as we go to N parents, his Dad looks at me to go & put the kettle on.,,

The tv is on here with the rugby, no doubt would be good time to go out shopping.
